Photo Quest # 39 Winter Light - Runs from 12/02 - 12/08/08

You probably have noticed that the sun is more south this time of year and not directly overhead.  The winter light can provide some very interesting effects on even the very simple scenes.  Pay attention to the shadows of fences, buildings, benches, the highlights on trees, leaves, status, the color of the early morning or late evening light on familiar subjects, your home, your office, the Christmas decorations in town.

For this week's Quest show me your examples of winter light on the subject(s) of your choice.  Photos must be taken during this week's Quest.  If you have any questions..please ask and most of all have some fun with this and learn something about your camera, your neighborhood and photography.

Interesting quest! I'll wander around the city for one-stop distance after my work to look for winter lights. That's good for my health as well, hehehe.

Wish I had felt better today, and found this post earlier. It would have been interesting to go out with my camera. We had a little bit of sunshine this afternoon. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.
